ABOUT ME (& my obsession with The Mary Tyler Moore Show)

The best thing that came out of the 2020 pandemic was the time I had to binge watch the old Mary Tyler Moore Show. I grew up watching the show with my mom. About half-way through binging Season 1, I realized I'd lived my life based on this show, right down to newsroom work. 

In re-watching my favorite series, I also realized how much history and culture the show captured for future generations. That's what we'll explore here -- the culture and history elements behind the Mary Tyler Moore Show.
